A Forgotten Roll – Yellow Springs, OH

One of the fun things about film is when you forget about a roll you’d shot.  It’s kind of like finding $20 in the pocket of a coat you haven’t worn in a while. (Rest assured this doesn’t happen with my clients’ rolls but I’m always shooting personal work that gets put in a ‘safe place’ to develop later.)  This roll is one of those that I had forgotten about and it was so fun to get it back and see it was from my son’s 1 year old birthday last year.  He was so squishy and kissable and sat still much more than he does now. ;-)  So here’s to lost memories found again, which may be when we appreciate them most.

I honestly can’t remember where/how I originally came across your blog, but I must say–your photos are so beautiful! I’ve been dabbling with film some (all on auto, though) and your photos are so inspiring.
