Let me tell you right now, I will NOT be putting your newborn baby in costumes, flower pots, or posing them in unnatural positions. *mic drop*

I want all of my newborn and child photography to be as comfortable and relaxing an experience as possible for my little clients. So I work very hard to ensure that I create my baby photography in a calming and safe environment.

If they're hungry, we'll take a little break for them to eat. If they're having a hard time settling to sleep, I'll play gentle womb sounds and make sure the temperature in the room is just right. And instead of elaborate setups with props, we'll use the most beautiful, soft swaddles perfect for their sensitive skin and a special newborn pillow for them to rest on.

It's a lot of hard work being born, so I make sure that newborn photos are as easy on your sweet, little baby as they are on you.

(And Also Kind of Weird)

The pregnancy journey, especially with your first baby, is one of the most special times of your life. Your body changes so much as you're growing the tiniest new member of your family, which is both amazing and weird because is that a FOOT showing through your belly?!

You may even wonder if you actually want maternity photos because you feel so tired nauseous and like you want to live in your pajamas. But remember this, mama. You are STUNNING, so strong and deserve to be celebrated.

You will never regret documenting this time in your life, but let me tell you from my own experience, you'll always regret it if you don't.

Hi! I'm Emily.

Your Family Photo Fairy Godmother

I'm a professional maternity and newborn photographer serving Toronto and the communities in Southern Ontario. As a mom of three boys (Yes, all boys. You read that right.), I really have a heart for making sure mamas get in the photos with their family.

We're always so busy making sure everyone else is taken care of and ready for photos, that we barely have any energy left for a shower! That's why I've crafted my business to help YOU feel cared for and beautiful.

I want to be the photographer that I wish I had when I was pregnant and the only photos I have were taken on a roll of film I shot with a tripod and my camera's timer.

So instead of having maternity photography add stress, let me make your whole experience delightful, relaxing and so special.

A Little Planning Goes A Long Way.

Your future self will thank you.

When you're feeling all the pregnancy aches, exhaustion and nausea (thanks a lot, green onion smell), it may feel like taking the time to even think about your session feels overwhelming.

But that's where I come in! After photographing and styling mamas for more than a decade, I can help you choose your outfit, hair and makeup, and location quickly and easily.

And pro tip: plan your maternity and newborn session at the same time! I know it feels way to early, but when you have a brand new baby and all the postpartum fluids, the last thing you want to be doing is picking out outfits and artwork. Just think about future you and plan ahead.
