What if I’m awkward in Front of the camera?

Every since becoming a professional photographer, sooo many people tell me ‘I’m not photogenic! I look so awkward in photos.’ And I always say ‘Perfect!’. Weird response right? But when someone doesn’t have a practiced model pose, it’s much easier for me to help them relax. Once you feel safe with me and my camera, then I can take photos that show you as your best self. Your genuine happiness and confidence will shine through.

So while I’m not a marketing expert, I do work through a lot of questions with you to help YOU find the answers to what your business is all about. I have a questionnaire that I’ll send over after you book to help get you thinking, and I’m happy to hop on a call and go over it with you until you feel confident with your core messaging. And you know what? It will shift and change as you and your business grows so you don’t have to know everything perfectly right now. You just need to start.

How early should I book?

Most of my clients book 4 to 6 weeks in advance so they have plenty of time to plan, choose outfits, and get their nails done.

What in the world do I wear?

This is going to vary a lot from person to person and depending on the type of image you want to portray. What an accountant would wear for brand photos is probably going to be very different from what a fine art painter would wear because the message they want to tell their ideal client is different. So I will help you with choosing outfits that not only fit your business’s image but also look great on camera.

What if I’m just starting my business?

You’re in the right place! When you’re just starting out is one of the BEST times to get photos taken as they can do a fantastic job communicating what you and your business are all about. You have a website to build, a social media presence to grow, and you want to come across as a professional every time a potential client sees you. One of the best ways to do this is with consistent professional photos, brand colors, and fonts.

How many images do you deliver?

This will depend on the length of your session and your needs, but for the Brand Library Session you’ll receive 60+ images (Though I usually deliver between 70 and 100). You can see more details about each package I offer and decide which is the best fit for your business.
