Soft, Simple Studio Maternity Session in Markham

A simple space, like this Markham photo studio, can set the perfect mood for maternity photos. It feels a little like the calm before the storm of all things new baby. But there’s still so much busyness during pregnancy that it can be nice to take a day and be pampered by a hair and makeup artist, put on a beautiful maternity dress from my client wardrobe, and take a moment. Even if you just feel tired and like all you can eat is sour patch kids, you are doing SUCH amazing work literally making a person!

It’s so important to me that every mother I photograph understands how beautiful she is. Life as a woman is hard and motherhood is no exception. It can be easy to feel like you’re invisible and the world is moving without you, that you lost who you used to be. But I want my maternity photography to remind you that maybe the new you is even more beautiful than the old. That the determination, bravery and love you have as a mother is stunning and fierce and so VERY valuable.
